Prior to enrolling in an AHA Instructor Course, all Instructor Candidates must be accepted by an authorized American Heart Association Training Center and complete an Instructor Candidate Application. This part of the process is known as alignment.
This is one of the most important decisions you, as an Instructor Candidate, will make. Choose an organization that is responsive, reliable, and committed to the success of their Instructors.
Note: Instructor Candidates enrolling in an AHA Instructor Course sponsored by Emergency Care Professionals must be accepted and aligned with Emergency Care Professionals. Outside Instructor Candidates are not permitted to enroll and should contact their respective Training Center for Instructor Course information.
